Wangari Maathai is my personal hero; she is the first African woman to win the Noble peace since it was created in 1901. And also, she is working hard to help the environment by planning trees in Africa.

Wangari Maathai has many environmental activities in the world, and she is the Nobel peace prize winner. She is from Kenya, and she starts plant trees in her back yard, but she did not give up her goals. She made the green Belt Movement successfully. Every year she plants millions of trees across Africa. Lastly, she is not only working to protect the environment, but also she wants to improve governance.
